We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Product Manager with travel industry experience to lead the development and delivery of our software products. The Software Product Manager will be responsible for the entire product life cycle, from conception to launch, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of products that meet customer needs and business goals, including the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives.

A Senior Engineer on the Groupize team is responsible for the implementation of the Groupize application. They contribute to the direct implementation of business requirements as well as participate in or drive architectural decisions on tooling, methodology or code structure for the application. 

A UI / Frontend focus indicates that the candidate is skilled at, and interested in, contributing to the architecture of the web user interface layer. This includes defining strategies with respect to client side code compilation, rendering and organization. Requirements that impact this section of the application will primarily be their responsibility, but they may be asked to take on work in more of a traditional “backend” role as necessary. 

A Senior Engineer reports to the VP of Engineering and acts as a contributing member of the engineering team, participating in all activities related to the execution of sprints and the development of the application.

Overview:

A Software Engineer on the Groupize team is responsible for the development of new features and ongoing support of Groupize’s suite of applications. A candidate for this position will be, primarily, working on thevendry.com – Groupize’s marketplace of venues to hold meetings or events. A candidate may also be asked to participate in engineering tasks for Groupize’s platform as well. The initial focus for this position will be on integrating The Vendry’s marketplace into Groupize’s meeting and events management platform. 

Candidates should be skilled at, and interested in, tasks such as data modeling, API design, programming, code structure and layout, and tooling to support efficient and secure application development. Candidates for this position would be responsible for a full-stack approach to application development but would work side by side with a frontend specialist for more complicated user interface tasks.

  • Serve as a Strategic Meetings Management advisor and Groupize expert, mentor, coach, knowledge resource, and escalation point for the team and customers.
  • Manage quarterly and annual targets for customer success metrics including customer adoption and customer references.
  • Track and measure customer KPIs to monitor ROI progress and build a customer success story using Groupize. 
  • Develop Customer Success stories and references for every customer launched into production.
  • Prioritize and respond to customer inquiries regarding implementation status, product functionality or features.
  • Maintain timely customer communication, documentation and recommendations on best practices for SMM capabilities using Groupize.
  • Maintain an expert level of knowledge on all Groupize products.
  • Maintain customer engagement status updates using GuideCX.
  • Contribute to training materials.
  • Contribute to best practices for implementing customers as well as the Customer Success Roadmap to maximize their investment in Groupize.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead and manage the accounting operations of the company. The Controller ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, entering, reviewing, and reconciling transactions, working to ensure accurate financial reporting. This role will interact with multiple departments and areas of the organization to explain and maintain financial statements according to generally accepted accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial reports by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.

  • Manage month end close process by maintaining the chart of accounts and processing monthly journal entries.

  • Prepare general ledger entries and ensure all revenue, expense and bank feeds are synchronized and reconciled monthly.

  • Assist with accounts payable, bill processing and vendor management.

  • Post all receivable transactions, including bank deposits, credit cards and Stripe.

  • Input and reconcile all payroll activity utilizing automated mapping and syncing where possible.

  • Establish and maintain deferred revenue schedule and balance sheet schedules including prepaid expenses and fixed asset depreciation.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and internal policies.

  • Cash Management – Reconcile cash and provide leadership with rolling bi-weekly cash forecasts.

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis – Work to prepare internal reporting documents analyzing revenue, margin, and variances to budgets/forecasts.

  • Assist with annual budget process by interacting cross-functionally to create buy-in from all leaders while maintaining integrity of the financials.

  • Recommend and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve systems and make the analysis of information easier and more concise.

  • Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.

  • Maintain monthly KPIs and Metrics

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. CPA preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting operations within SaaS or software development environments.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and related accounting and billing software tools.
